As a Wisconsin wedding videographer of many years, I had the exciting opportunity to film Nancy and Ammar’s Olin Park wedding in Madison, Wisconsin in the spring of 2025.
Their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of both who they are and where they chose to celebrate—a wonderful mix of Midwest vibes and Middle Eastern traditions, all in sight of some of Madison's most iconic scenery.
From getting ready together at their home to celebrating with loved ones overlooking Lake Monona and the Capitol, their Olin Park wedding not only captured the heart of this city, but also the love that brought them together.
Meet Brad Cisewski: Your Wisconsin Wedding Videographer
Hey, I’m Brad Cisewski—a wedding videographer based in Madison and filming all across the state of Wisconsin.
I got my start filming goofy music videos in high school, and since then I’ve worked on everything from Emmy-nominated TV episodes to documentaries.
I’ve been capturing weddings for over eight years with a documentary-style approach that focuses on the real stuff—the laughs, the quirks, and the quiet moments. My goal is to help you enjoy your day while I turn it into a film that feels honest, timeless, and totally you.
These days, I split my time between editing wedding films and hanging out with my wife Bri and our two spoiled dogs, Goose and Ollie. I film weddings for every kind of couple, and I love making stories that feel as natural and unique as the day itself.

About the Venue: Olin Park
Olin Park is one of those Madison wedding locations that surprises people. At first glance, the pavilion itself is pretty simple—but once you step outside, you’re standing on top of a hill with sweeping views over Lake Monona and straight toward the Capitol.
It’s easily one of the best scenic overlooks in the city, and everything from the ceremony space to the paths and pier nearby makes it an incredible place to film.
One of the things I love most about Olin Park is how flexible it is. It’s an affordable option for medium-sized weddings (Nancy & Ammar had 70 guests), and couples have a lot of freedom to truly make the space their own—like bringing in outside food and bar vendors and fully customizing the layout and decor.
There are great spots all around the park, so we never had to go far to find beautiful backdrops throughout the day.

Nancy & Ammar's Olin Park Wedding
Nancy and Ammar’s wedding day was relaxed, meaningful, and full of personal moments from start to finish.
Here’s how I experienced their day behind the camera—from getting ready at home to celebrating together at Olin Park with their family and friends.

Pre-Ceremony Moments
Nancy and Ammar chose to do their first look at their home in Madison, and I captured that moment on video while their photographer documented it in stills.
It was a quiet, meaningful way to start the day—just the two of them, together at the home they share together, before heading out to celebrate.
From there, we spent some time filming and photographing them around the city, including a stop in front of a colorful "MADISON" wall mural. We then met up with their families and wedding party in the greenery at Olin Park to capture group photos and video before the ceremony.
Filming in a few different locations throughout Madison helped create a really full picture of their day—not just the events, but the places and moments in between that made it uniquely theirs.
Venue Details
I always make a point to capture the small details throughout the day, because they’re what bring a wedding film to life. At Nancy and Ammar’s Olin Park wedding, that meant filming everything from the outdoor bar setup for cocktail hour to the way the pavilion was styled for dinner.
The ceremony space overlooked Lake Monona with the Capitol in the distance, and inside, the long tables were set with soft colors, greenery, and elevated florals.
These were the kinds of details I wove into their video alongside the bigger moments—helping tell the full story of how their day looked and felt.
The Wedding Ceremony
Nancy and Ammar’s ceremony took place outside at Olin Park, overlooking Lake Monona with the Capitol in the background. As guests started to arrive, it was hard to imagine a more beautiful spot to tie the knot.
Friends and family filled the chairs and waited patiently for the bride to make her appearance.
Their ceremony was a unique blend of American and Middle Eastern traditions, which made it especially meaningful to witness and to film.
There were cultural elements sprinkled throughout, including the Muhar ceremony—which is a traditional Middle Eastern ceremony pictured below with a veil and a mirror, where a couple gazes upon their reflection in marriage for the first time.
From a videographer’s perspective, this was one of those ceremonies where every moment mattered. I made sure to capture it all—the processional, the readings, the traditions, the reactions from their families, and the quiet in-between moments—so Nancy and Ammar can always look back and experience their ceremony in all its glory for years to come.
The Reception
After the ceremony, everyone walked up the hill to the pavilion for cocktail hour. They had a drink cart set up outside along with appetizers, and most guests spent that time hanging out in the sun, grabbing drinks, and catching up.
It felt very casual and social—a nice breather after the ceremony before heading inside for the reception.
Once the doors opened, the reception moved indoors and it was officially time to celebrate. Nancy and Ammar entered to a full room, followed by a traditional dance performance. From there, the night flowed into dinner, speeches, and then straight into dancing.
Between the cultural performances, packed dance floor, and constant movement, there was never a dull moment—and it made for some of my favorite footage from the day.
